"Seems a little wasteful."

My sponge, duster worms, snails and crabs, porcelain and emerald are doing well. It's simple enough to put together. An Eco Bio block is a good idea to. Looks very similar to more expensive tanks for much less. FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS THAT COME WITH IT. I think I am going to get the 28 gallon also for my office area in the loft. It comes with everything you'd want besides a heater and protein skimmer.

I didn't notice the dust on the glass until I reviewed the zoomed in pictures. You can see the pic and decide what's right for your needs. Not a single smear or excess silicon in any place, no bubbles, ymmv. It comes with everything you'd want besides a heater and protein skimmer. I set this up just like I would have a big salt tank. "Pretty Happy."

Mine's sitting on the carpet, and it's completely silent that way. Beautiful tank, had a local glass co. My biggest gripes about it are the lack of room in the back. Mostly I just love looking at this tank. I immediately noticed that the glass moves slightly in the corners when pressed on. You can't even see the pushed in spots. A little piece of foam in the bubble tube keeps gravel out while putting it in.

"Absolutely luv it."

I could not put water in it as shipped because the return pump was compromised. I added a small circulation pump to get better water movement. Overall great package and would definitely buy it again and recommend it. Mostly I just love looking at this tank. Not a fan of the filtration sponge. That will make it easier to maintain the water temp and find a heater. The BioOrb does an amazing job keeping the tank clean and fresh.

It started to malfunction immediately upon being plugged in. I didn't even add the skimmer, and it has be perfect. I could not put water in it as shipped because the return pump was compromised. All in all it is packaged very well. I purchased one of the biOtube plant sets also. Final gripe and its not a big deal is that there isn't a lid over the feeding hole. I have been an active fish keeper for years. They are affordable and beautiful and well made. 1 gallon puts my other 7 tanks to shame. This arrived a little over 24 hours ago and I will update as a resolution comes. My other gripe would be with the lid. I find them very easy to keep clean. It started to malfunction immediately upon being plugged in.

"Great tank."

I do 1 drop per two gallons 3x a week for first few months. Overall great package and would definitely buy it again and recommend it. I really like the ceramic media as it provides a great home for the'good' bacteria. I will definitely be purchasing a Landen tank for all future purchases. I immediately noticed that the glass moves slightly in the corners when pressed on. I bought two of these tanks and the quality of them in just amazing. I've built a fresh nano planted tank using this.

"This tank is super small."

It really makes it easy to keep the outside surface clean and shiny! Highly recommend this for beginners. I used an Aquatop Np302 and the tubing from the Portrait as my return pump. I could not put water in it as shipped because the return pump was compromised. I didn't want to cover the filter because it would make cleaning harder. I recommend buying the biOtube polish to! I have been an active fish keeper for years.

I could not put water in it as shipped because the return pump was compromised. And my Midas Blenny and Cleaner shrimp are doing so well in it. My biggest gripes about it are the lack of room in the back. It's simple enough to put together. Bottom line is~28 hours after receipt this is one star. I added some privacy film to help hide the cords and the hang-on-back filter. You can see the pic and decide what's right for your needs.
