I didn't notice the dust on the glass until I reviewed the zoomed in pictures. You can see the pic and decide what's right for your needs. Not a single smear or excess silicon in any place, no bubbles, ymmv. It comes with everything you'd want besides a heater and protein skimmer. I set this up just like I would have a big salt tank. Mostly I just love looking at this tank. The instructions are maybe two pages.

It started to malfunction immediately upon being plugged in. I didn't even add the skimmer, and it has be perfect. I could not put water in it as shipped because the return pump was compromised. All in all it is packaged very well. I purchased one of the biOtube plant sets also. Final gripe and its not a big deal is that there isn't a lid over the feeding hole. I added a small circulation pump to get better water movement. I think it will provide a good home and upgrade for my current aquarium inhabitants. To me I think it is worth it to have such a good tank. DO NOT USE SAND OR ANY OTHER SUBSTRATE OTHER THAN WHAT THEY GIVE YOU. My sponge, duster worms, snails and crabs, porcelain and emerald are doing well. Overall I'm pleased with the purchase. If you upgrade your filter situation this BiOrb is really neat.

Mine's sitting on the carpet, and it's completely silent that way. 5 watt works well and keeps it between 78-80 degrees if the room air is around 70–71. But even so, the tank is beautiful! I wanted to wait a little before reviewing so I could give a good and honest review. Keep up with water changes and testing and it'll be smooth sailing. I plan on plenty invertebrates and softies only so I may never need to upgrade. Also there is more floor space to spread out the live rock and create a cool scape.

Medium on the bottom, coarse on top. If this goes well I have a spare 75g at home I'll probably convert into a reef tank. I have been an active fish keeper for years. Bottom line is~28 hours after receipt this is one star. I picked this, because it was simple and had everything I needed. 1 gallon puts my other 7 tanks to shame. Wanted the ADA look but on a budget and this fits the bill.

The stock pump is high quality but opted to use it in the tank to circulate water. I picked this, because it was simple and had everything I needed. I don't have plants in mine in the usual sense. I think it will provide a good home and upgrade for my current aquarium inhabitants. I have this aquarium for now a couple of weeks. Please note that the tank is 100% clear. It started to malfunction immediately upon being plugged in. 5 watt works well and keeps it between 78-80 degrees if the room air is around 70–71. I grabbed the Sungrow Aquarium Gravel Cleaner Kit. The Landen box is labeled fragile and inside an Amazon box. Overall I'm pleased with the purchase.

The standard filter doesn't work with a SALTWATER aquarium. Indeed the light did not illuminate at all but only flashed as seen in the video. I will try to come back in a few months with an updated photo of this tank. My tanks cycled quickly, and I've had no problems with ammonia. It really makes it easy to keep the outside surface clean and shiny! Unboxing the inner package, with the tank itself was not difficult. Final gripe and its not a big deal is that there isn't a lid over the feeding hole.
