I didn't notice the dust on the glass until I reviewed the zoomed in pictures. You can see the pic and decide what's right for your needs. Not a single smear or excess silicon in any place, no bubbles, ymmv. It comes with everything you'd want besides a heater and protein skimmer. I set this up just like I would have a big salt tank. Mine loves lounging and swimming through ours. All in all it is packaged very well. Mine's sitting on the carpet, and it's completely silent that way. Mostly I just love looking at this tank. I will definitely be purchasing a Landen tank for all future purchases. Also there is more floor space to spread out the live rock and create a cool scape. I would like a heater, but it costs more than the tank.

Just do your homework and don't overload this tank. The instructions are maybe two pages. If you upgrade your filter situation this BiOrb is really neat. My sponge, duster worms, snails and crabs, porcelain and emerald are doing well. I think it will provide a good home and upgrade for my current aquarium inhabitants. And my Midas Blenny and Cleaner shrimp are doing so well in it. Also have live sand on the bottom, about 1plus inches.

I wanted to wait a little before reviewing so I could give a good and honest review. I think I am going to get the 28 gallon also for my office area in the loft. An Eco Bio block is a good idea to. I do 1 drop per two gallons 3x a week for first few months. I put in some white stones and it looks amazing. An Eco Bio block is a good idea to. Just do your homework and don't overload this tank.

Overall I'm pleased with the purchase. You can see the pic and decide what's right for your needs. Medium on the bottom, coarse on top. Also there is more floor space to spread out the live rock and create a cool scape. To me I think it is worth it to have such a good tank. I picked this, because it was simple and had everything I needed. It really makes it easy to keep the outside surface clean and shiny!

Next is to cut your foams into donuts to fit snug around the bottom filter cartridge. The most serious issue thus far is the light bar. I have this aquarium for now a couple of weeks. I will definitely be purchasing a Landen tank for all future purchases. I will most definitely be sticking with Landen for future aquarium purchases. Also there is more floor space to spread out the live rock and create a cool scape. I put it opposite the return pump and it creates awesome flow.

It is bit expensive, but I don't think I will ever need to buy another tank again. Overall I'm pleased with the purchase. Still waiting for the silicone to cure. Nothing to complain about with this tank at all. My sponge, duster worms, snails and crabs, porcelain and emerald are doing well. We had a new home built this year, and just moved in. Still waiting for the silicone to cure.

I didn't notice the dust on the glass until I reviewed the zoomed in pictures. I bought an additional 2 Lb Bag Ceramic Media, and that does the trick. He is so happy and swims around all day instead of just sitting in a corner. I would like a heater, but it costs more than the tank. I had a coworker who also likes fish helping me and we had it together in 15 minutes. I will try to come back in a few months with an updated photo of this tank. Still waiting for the silicone to cure.

Both my fish are doing well with this setup. My only comment is that Amazon should label their box fragile. I didn't even add the skimmer, and it has be perfect. It is awesome for a very small amount of water. I bought 2 more 1lb bags of ceramic material and I only needed one more. A little piece of foam in the bubble tube keeps gravel out while putting it in. I will update if I have any issues.
