"Is like a decor piece."I've got two of these tanks, one at home and one at work. The aquarium came very well packaged and undamaged. It started to malfunction immediately upon being plugged in. 5 watt works well and keeps it between 78-80 degrees if the room air is around 70–71. I grabbed the Sungrow Aquarium Gravel Cleaner Kit. The Landen box is labeled fragile and inside an Amazon box. Overall I'm pleased with the purchase.

"I was worried about that."I immediately noticed that the glass moves slightly in the corners when pressed on. I do enjoy how modern it looks with no rims. I've wanted this tank for a LONG time, and I love it. I immediately noticed that the glass moves slightly in the corners when pressed on. I could not put water in it as shipped because the return pump was compromised. I will usually slow it down more at night so he can sleep undisturbed. The BioOrb does an amazing job keeping the tank clean and fresh.

"Big mistake."I bought 2 more 1lb bags of ceramic material and I only needed one more. This arrived a little over 24 hours ago and I will update as a resolution comes. I do 1 drop per two gallons 3x a week for first few months. I have a lot of freshwater tanks, but this is my 1st attempt at saltwater. "I am in love with it!"Wanted the ADA look but on a budget and this fits the bill. Medium on the bottom, coarse on top. My ammonia is undetectable including the N2 and N3. I used a binder clip to clamp the tube down and decrease the air entering the tank. I will definitely be purchasing a Landen tank for all future purchases. Seriously, it doesn't even cover the filter, and it looks pretty bad. Overall I'm pleased with the purchase.

"It's gorgeous."My sponge, duster worms, snails and crabs, porcelain and emerald are doing well. Beveled edges all around and the silicon work is really nice. If you are looking for a good quality aquarium with a great look this is it! I didn't notice the dust on the glass until I reviewed the zoomed in pictures. I'm really liking the Landen line of aquariums. I don't have plants in mine in the usual sense. I really like the ceramic media as it provides a great home for the'good' bacteria.

"I really love it."I find them very easy to keep clean. I didn't even add the skimmer, and it has be perfect. Unboxing the inner package, with the tank itself was not difficult. I grabbed the Sungrow Aquarium Gravel Cleaner Kit. Highly recommend this for beginners. I bought an additional 2 Lb Bag Ceramic Media, and that does the trick. It took less than 10 minutes to get a new light bar shipped out.

"5 years in to ownership."Next is to cut your foams into donuts to fit snug around the bottom filter cartridge. The stock pump is high quality but opted to use it in the tank to circulate water. I do enjoy how modern it looks with no rims. I would like a heater, but it costs more than the tank. I will most definitely be sticking with Landen for future aquarium purchases. They look the same as the ADA ones which cost a fair amount more. But even so, the tank is beautiful!

"It's just beautiful!"The Evo has the same capacity but seems like a much bigger tank than the Portrait. 1 gallon puts my other 7 tanks to shame. I added a small circulation pump to get better water movement. I don't have plants in mine in the usual sense. It comes with everything you'd want besides a heater and protein skimmer. All in all it is packaged very well. I started the cycling process and it's holding water so far!

"Absolutely beautiful."The most serious issue thus far is the light bar. The instructions are maybe two pages. He is so happy and swims around all day instead of just sitting in a corner. I had a coworker who also likes fish helping me and we had it together in 15 minutes. 5 watt works well and keeps it between 78-80 degrees if the room air is around 70–71. "This tank is amazing!"Beautiful tank, had a local glass co. It started to malfunction immediately upon being plugged in. Also have live sand on the bottom, about 1plus inches. Clean silicone lines and clear glass. Use seachem prime and stability with every water change and as needed by directions. By using live rock and sand, you'll be able to cycle this tank within 3-4 weeks. The purple coralline algae is growing well.
