Indeed the light did not illuminate at all but only flashed as seen in the video. Just like the aquariums I saw in the aquascaping videos I watched on YouTube. I've built a fresh nano planted tank using this. So far 2 fish and 1 water frog died this way in my aquarium within 6 months.

You can't even see the pushed in spots. Overall great package and would definitely buy it again and recommend it. I will usually slow it down more at night so he can sleep undisturbed. Most important though is the lighting issue. 5 watt works well and keeps it between 78-80 degrees if the room air is around 70–71. The purple coralline algae is growing well. The multi colored LED lights cost more than the tank itself too. I had a coworker who also likes fish helping me and we had it together in 15 minutes. The multi colored LED lights cost more than the tank itself too. Bottom line is~28 hours after receipt this is one star. I put it opposite the return pump and it creates awesome flow. The purple coralline algae is growing well. My only comment is that Amazon should label their box fragile.

Both my fish are doing well with this setup. My sponge, duster worms, snails and crabs, porcelain and emerald are doing well. The multi colored LED lights cost more than the tank itself too. I picked this, because it was simple and had everything I needed. Also very important for filtration. I started the cycling process and it's holding water so far! Nothing to complain about with this tank at all. Beautiful tank, had a local glass co. I'm really liking the Landen line of aquariums.
