"Excellent buy!"It is awesome for a very small amount of water. It started to malfunction immediately upon being plugged in. At least 30%, more if testing indicates a problem or if water is looking bad. I bought an additional 2 Lb Bag Ceramic Media, and that does the trick. My tanks cycled quickly, and I've had no problems with ammonia. You can't even see the pushed in spots. I used a binder clip to clamp the tube down and decrease the air entering the tank.

"It's gorgeous."Also very important for filtration. I put it opposite the return pump and it creates awesome flow. I spoke to a gentleman in customer service named Julio this afternoon. I really like the ceramic media as it provides a great home for the'good' bacteria. My only comment is that Amazon should label their box fragile. Final gripe and its not a big deal is that there isn't a lid over the feeding hole. I purchased one of the biOtube plant sets also.

"Pretty Happy."That will make it easier to maintain the water temp and find a heater. It will help establish your good bacteria, and get the nitrogen cycle started. I recommend buying the biOtube polish to! Given the price I paid, I am hoping it will continue to hold water! The size is in the description is accurate. The pictures are from day 4, note the crystal clear water. Also have live sand on the bottom, about 1plus inches.

"Attached some photos."A little piece of foam in the bubble tube keeps gravel out while putting it in. The Landen box is labeled fragile and inside an Amazon box. Should survive the shipping process just fine! I started the cycling process and it's holding water so far! It sits inside of styrofoam and is double boxed and wrapped once with bubble wrap. I added some privacy film to help hide the cords and the hang-on-back filter. I used an Aquatop Np302 and the tubing from the Portrait as my return pump.

"Hold temperatures better."I used a binder clip to clamp the tube down and decrease the air entering the tank. It really makes it easy to keep the outside surface clean and shiny! I grabbed the Sungrow Aquarium Gravel Cleaner Kit. Beautiful tank, had a local glass co. Also very important for filtration. It will help establish your good bacteria, and get the nitrogen cycle started. I've built a fresh nano planted tank using this.

"Filter finally gave out!"It started to malfunction immediately upon being plugged in. By using live rock and sand, you'll be able to cycle this tank within 3-4 weeks. Also there is more floor space to spread out the live rock and create a cool scape. Clean silicone lines and clear glass. The multi colored LED lights cost more than the tank itself too. I rely very heavily on Amazon reviews for my online shopping, so here is mine. They are affordable and beautiful and well made.

"Seems a little wasteful."Given the price I paid, I am hoping it will continue to hold water! I will try to come back in a few months with an updated photo of this tank. I spoke to a gentleman in customer service named Julio this afternoon. Glass was very well packaged and arrived in excellent condition. They look the same as the ADA ones which cost a fair amount more. I had a coworker who also likes fish helping me and we had it together in 15 minutes. If you are looking for a good quality aquarium with a great look this is it!

"Yes, it was expensive."Nothing to complain about with this tank at all. I could not put water in it as shipped because the return pump was compromised. A little piece of foam in the bubble tube keeps gravel out while putting it in. Mine loves lounging and swimming through ours. By using live rock and sand, you'll be able to cycle this tank within 3-4 weeks. Just do your homework and don't overload this tank. Indeed the light did not illuminate at all but only flashed as seen in the video.

I added a small circulation pump to get better water movement. But even so, the tank is beautiful! To me I think it is worth it to have such a good tank.
