I picked this, because it was simple and had everything I needed. After some experimentation And constant monitoring I found that the flat Aqueon 7. I purchased one of the biOtube plant sets also. So far 2 fish and 1 water frog died this way in my aquarium within 6 months. I started the cycling process and it's holding water so far! Please note that the tank is 100% clear. Also very important for filtration.

I wanted to wait a little before reviewing so I could give a good and honest review. 1 gallon puts my other 7 tanks to shame. This arrived a little over 24 hours ago and I will update as a resolution comes. The Evo has the same capacity but seems like a much bigger tank than the Portrait. Next is to cut your foams into donuts to fit snug around the bottom filter cartridge. I have this aquarium for now a couple of weeks. The Landen box is labeled fragile and inside an Amazon box.

DO NOT USE SAND OR ANY OTHER SUBSTRATE OTHER THAN WHAT THEY GIVE YOU. This arrived a little over 24 hours ago and I will update as a resolution comes. Glass was very well packaged and arrived in excellent condition. I would like a heater, but it costs more than the tank. The Landen box is labeled fragile and inside an Amazon box. It is bit expensive, but I don't think I will ever need to buy another tank again. I think I am going to get the 28 gallon also for my office area in the loft.

The standard filter doesn't work with a SALTWATER aquarium. It will help establish your good bacteria, and get the nitrogen cycle started. I picked this, because it was simple and had everything I needed. Definetly get a small ato as it does allow considerable evap. You can't even see the pushed in spots. I also add seachem pristine per direction once a week for first few months. I set this up just like I would have a big salt tank. 5 watt works well and keeps it between 78-80 degrees if the room air is around 70–71. To me I think it is worth it to have such a good tank. The multi colored LED lights cost more than the tank itself too. So far 2 fish and 1 water frog died this way in my aquarium within 6 months. All in all it is packaged very well.

I didn't want to cover the filter because it would make cleaning harder. It is awesome for a very small amount of water. Definetly get a small ato as it does allow considerable evap. I really like the ceramic media as it provides a great home for the'good' bacteria. Mine loves lounging and swimming through ours. All in all it is packaged very well. Mine's sitting on the carpet, and it's completely silent that way. Mostly I just love looking at this tank. I will definitely be purchasing a Landen tank for all future purchases. Also there is more floor space to spread out the live rock and create a cool scape. I would like a heater, but it costs more than the tank.

An Eco Bio block is a good idea to. I plan on plenty invertebrates and softies only so I may never need to upgrade. After some experimentation And constant monitoring I found that the flat Aqueon 7. The stock pump is high quality but opted to use it in the tank to circulate water. Final gripe and its not a big deal is that there isn't a lid over the feeding hole. I put it opposite the return pump and it creates awesome flow. Clean silicone lines and clear glass.

And my Midas Blenny and Cleaner shrimp are doing so well in it. Mine's sitting on the carpet, and it's completely silent that way. Both my fish are doing well with this setup. It will help establish your good bacteria, and get the nitrogen cycle started. My sponge, duster worms, snails and crabs, porcelain and emerald are doing well. It is bit expensive, but I don't think I will ever need to buy another tank again. Still waiting for the silicone to cure.
