It is awesome for a very small amount of water. It started to malfunction immediately upon being plugged in. At least 30%, more if testing indicates a problem or if water is looking bad. I bought an additional 2 Lb Bag Ceramic Media, and that does the trick. My tanks cycled quickly, and I've had no problems with ammonia. You can't even see the pushed in spots. I used a binder clip to clamp the tube down and decrease the air entering the tank.

We had a new home built this year, and just moved in. I wanted to wait a little before reviewing so I could give a good and honest review. The pic is a bit cloudy since I just filled it up and its still cycling. I spoke to a gentleman in customer service named Julio this afternoon. Indeed the light did not illuminate at all but only flashed as seen in the video. You must buy a special one they produce for marine tanks. If you upgrade your filter situation this BiOrb is really neat.

I do enjoy how modern it looks with no rims. I picked this, because it was simple and had everything I needed. The size is in the description is accurate. An Eco Bio block is a good idea to. He is so happy and swims around all day instead of just sitting in a corner. But even so, the tank is beautiful! Beveled edges all around and the silicon work is really nice.

The standard filter doesn't work with a SALTWATER aquarium. It will help establish your good bacteria, and get the nitrogen cycle started. We had a new home built this year, and just moved in. But even so, the tank is beautiful! 1 gallon puts my other 7 tanks to shame. The BioOrb does an amazing job keeping the tank clean and fresh. The multi colored LED lights cost more than the tank itself too. It will help establish your good bacteria, and get the nitrogen cycle started. The Evo has the same capacity but seems like a much bigger tank than the Portrait.

To me I think it is worth it to have such a good tank. Overall great package and would definitely buy it again and recommend it. The Landen box is labeled fragile and inside an Amazon box. It sits inside of styrofoam and is double boxed and wrapped once with bubble wrap. If this goes well I have a spare 75g at home I'll probably convert into a reef tank. I do enjoy how modern it looks with no rims. Not a single smear or excess silicon in any place, no bubbles, ymmv. Secondly, the up close picture of the logo and silicon work is VERY close. By using live rock and sand, you'll be able to cycle this tank within 3-4 weeks. I started the cycling process and it's holding water so far! I don't have plants in mine in the usual sense. That is a stand up person and one I will do business with again.

I used an Aquatop Np302 and the tubing from the Portrait as my return pump. I bought 2 more 1lb bags of ceramic material and I only needed one more. It started to malfunction immediately upon being plugged in. The Evo has the same capacity but seems like a much bigger tank than the Portrait. Glass was very well packaged and arrived in excellent condition. It comes with everything you'd want besides a heater and protein skimmer. Next is to cut your foams into donuts to fit snug around the bottom filter cartridge.
