"Great beginners tank."Given the price I paid, I am hoping it will continue to hold water! I don't have plants in mine in the usual sense. The stock pump is high quality but opted to use it in the tank to circulate water. Use seachem prime and stability with every water change and as needed by directions. The pic is a bit cloudy since I just filled it up and its still cycling. DO NOT USE SAND OR ANY OTHER SUBSTRATE OTHER THAN WHAT THEY GIVE YOU. That will make it easier to maintain the water temp and find a heater.

"This table is beautiful."I used a binder clip to clamp the tube down and decrease the air entering the tank. Glass was very well packaged and arrived in excellent condition. Given the price I paid, I am hoping it will continue to hold water! I didn't want to cover the filter because it would make cleaning harder. I will try to come back in a few months with an updated photo of this tank. The Landen box is labeled fragile and inside an Amazon box. I will most definitely be sticking with Landen for future aquarium purchases.

"They sent a replacement."You can't even see the pushed in spots. So far 2 fish and 1 water frog died this way in my aquarium within 6 months. Beveled edges all around and the silicon work is really nice. To me I think it is worth it to have such a good tank. I added a small circulation pump to get better water movement. The Evo has the same capacity but seems like a much bigger tank than the Portrait. I picked this, because it was simple and had everything I needed.

"This tank is super small."It is bit expensive, but I don't think I will ever need to buy another tank again. Overall I'm pleased with the purchase. Still waiting for the silicone to cure. I will most definitely be sticking with Landen for future aquarium purchases. Mine loves lounging and swimming through ours. I find them very easy to keep clean. I'm really liking the Landen line of aquariums.

"Scratch that."I also add seachem pristine per direction once a week for first few months. They are affordable and beautiful and well made. I have this aquarium for now a couple of weeks. It sits inside of styrofoam and is double boxed and wrapped once with bubble wrap. The most serious issue thus far is the light bar. Indeed the light did not illuminate at all but only flashed as seen in the video. It really makes it easy to keep the outside surface clean and shiny!

"Just my luck."Glass was very well packaged and arrived in excellent condition. I purchased one of the biOtube plant sets also. Medium on the bottom, coarse on top. I think I am going to get the 28 gallon also for my office area in the loft. I find them very easy to keep clean. 5 watt works well and keeps it between 78-80 degrees if the room air is around 70–71. I spoke to a gentleman in customer service named Julio this afternoon.

"Pretty Happy."Mine's sitting on the carpet, and it's completely silent that way. Beautiful tank, had a local glass co. My biggest gripes about it are the lack of room in the back. Mostly I just love looking at this tank. I immediately noticed that the glass moves slightly in the corners when pressed on. You can't even see the pushed in spots. A little piece of foam in the bubble tube keeps gravel out while putting it in.

"Easy to clean."I think it will provide a good home and upgrade for my current aquarium inhabitants. An Eco Bio block is a good idea to. It comes with everything you'd want besides a heater and protein skimmer. After the foam is in I put the gravel in. Given the price I paid, I am hoping it will continue to hold water! I will usually slow it down more at night so he can sleep undisturbed. Just like the aquariums I saw in the aquascaping videos I watched on YouTube.

"Stand is great."I added some privacy film to help hide the cords and the hang-on-back filter. Mine loves lounging and swimming through ours. Both my fish are doing well with this setup. We had a new home built this year, and just moved in. I plan on plenty invertebrates and softies only so I may never need to upgrade. My biggest gripes about it are the lack of room in the back. He is so happy and swims around all day instead of just sitting in a corner.

"This tank is amazing!"Beautiful tank, had a local glass co. It started to malfunction immediately upon being plugged in. Also have live sand on the bottom, about 1plus inches. Clean silicone lines and clear glass. Use seachem prime and stability with every water change and as needed by directions. By using live rock and sand, you'll be able to cycle this tank within 3-4 weeks. The purple coralline algae is growing well.
