The size of the tank is too small to recommend. Also don't leave the USB port connected to a charger all the time. 3-second Long Press on rightmost button turns feeder on and off. Only downside was that the hole was too big for red tiny bit fish food. Must be at least 1 or it will not feed at all. The other way you can mount this is with a stick on mount. The unit arrived partially charged.

I feed small pellet food, about the size of sand. I mix Omega One Color and Tetra Color flake foods in a ziplock bag. It takes 3 presses of the set button to move to the 3rd feeding time. This would have been a great investment when I started my aquarium 30 years ago. Another nice feature is the feeder will rotate on its screw attachment base. The unit arrived partially charged. Overall, this product has been great.

Filling the container is easy, and the auto timer is amazing. They have fish and the need for them to be fed was much needed. I am sure they all would have worked, but I was skeptical about some features. Fast delivery,easy instructions to set up time and feeding. Overall, this product has been great. Another nice feature is the feeder will rotate on its screw attachment base. Not sure why they suggest not to do so, but it worked just fine.

Overall this is a very good feeder. The unit arrived partially charged. Product does NOT come with required AA batteries. I look forward to my next vacation with asking someone to feed my fish. It is the quiet feeder I ever have. Sure the stench is appalling but he's fed. For the gouramis I have flake food, but for the corys I have sinking pellets.

It's been using for twice a day for 5 weeks, still no need for charging the battery. The pellets stick to the tape and slowly build up clogging the hole. 5 notches and it's worked perfectly for me. 3-second Long Press on rightmost button turns feeder on and off. Not sure why they suggest not to do so, but it worked just fine. I am sure they all would have worked, but I was skeptical about some features. Forgetting to feed your fish will not happen again with this Auto Fish Feeder.

There are a couple ways to mount this feeder. Overall, this product has been great. I have mine set at the smallest possible opening. And yes, you can use flake food like I do, just fine. Sure the stench is appalling but he's fed. I have no complaints and fish are happy. There is a small sliding door that allows the food to escape.

You can make it work with these, but you need to be careful. It lead to a lot of inconsistency and failures till I got it right. I have a 75 gallon tank, and removed a 1. The slider door does not move on its own during rotations. It has a button you can press to do a manual feeding. I figure it holds enough for about 5 days at the current feeding rate. It also allow multiple feeding option and times.

I decided to use it as the everyday feeder, and not just when I'm out of town. The other way you can mount this is with a stick on mount. Programming was not too difficult, but does need careful reading. The rechargeable battery makes me feel better about the environment. I would rather overbuy than underbuy. That being said, HOWEVER, as with everything, there are duds in every batch. Another big tip for flake food users.

Don't lose the instructions or you'll go crazy trying to program it. It is tied down to keep it from falling into the tank. You can make it work with these, but you need to be careful. I have not, however, tested it with pelleted food. I figured too much food was better than too little. And yes, you can use flake food like I do, just fine. Took me all of 5 minutes start to finish to get it set up.
