"Arrived on time."I rated this 4 because it works great for the babies to live in for a bit. When I came across this one that showed the actual inner dimensions, I was impressed. I am using several to sort through some fish I am breeding. Breeder nets are available in many sizes including larger than both boxes. I currently have about 30 or so new babies in it. I took the out of the tank and put them in mugs but it was not practical. Super strong suction cups- I have both the small and large.

"Works good."The baby fish were able to swim from the bottom back to the time in the corners. Guppy fry didn't escape and they look happy. First one arrived used with gravel and a hole in it. "He's happy, so I'm happy."I'll put the bag from the pet shop in it and cut it open. He's happy just sitting on his plant blowing bubbles. 5 gallon, but he was struggling to swim. If you have a smaller tank, the Lee's may be the better choice. With the fry drop removed you get a really nice size little tank. I left it out and the babies were sneaking out through that hole. My husband got me a few guppies that apparently had been pregnant.

"Great product."I feel like this breeder box is sturdier than some others that I've used. I left it out and the babies were sneaking out through that hole. "Great item!"Petzilla is larger in size which reduces crowding as the babies grow. Guppy fry didn't escape and they look happy. I will update after the babies are born but so far this is great. No trying to get mom back out while trying to keep babies in. You have to be really careful with shrimp or they die. I'm using it as a nursery for baby guppies. "Definitely recommend."Less than 2 days and already received a replacement. Guppy fry didn't escape and they look happy. First one arrived used with gravel and a hole in it. Definitely worth buying if you need to separate fish for any reason. I had a 2 pregnant guppies and bought this for them. I got the medium and it's mostly the width of a 10 gallon tank. As with many plastics, if it isn't thick enough, then it can break.

"The thing is awesome!"I didn't have the space for an external one. I bought one to try it out, and it's been excellent. There is a grate that sits about an inch above the bottom of the box. Fits nicely in a size 10 gallon tank. I really like that it has suction cups, and is very sturdy on the glass. I'll put the bag from the pet shop in it and cut it open. So overall, this is a functioning product with little issues. This works better at protecting babies from mom than the one room nets. With the fry drop removed you get a really nice size little tank. "This is it."Took me a little while to figure it out but it worked for me. It comes with 2 removable dividers and a removable fry drop slotted piece. The suction cups hold well, and it has floating handle chambers as a backup. I actually put it in my 10 gallon baby fry tank. They are impossible to reach once it it attached. I have safe little fry and more to come! He had room to still swim around and I didn't feel too guilty.

"Wash before use."The breeder box has a decent size for isolating fish or dwarf shrimp. I own 7 of these isolation, breeding tanks. Neither ended up having their babies in the breeder box. I bought one to try it out, and it's been excellent. Less than 2 days and already received a replacement. Instead of catching babies, I simply leave the mom in the top piece. The baby fish were able to swim from the bottom back to the time in the corners.

"I would buy again!"The Petzilla and Lee's make observations easier. They seemed scared at first but calmed down after about 30 minutes. Good quality and easy to take apart. The tube for the bubbler is a nice touch. My other one was fine but I brought her out so she wouldn't get hurt. She doesn't seem very stressed, honestly, and likes to nap in the V's. "Priced right."Suction cups do not hold the box up under its own weight. This is my first breeder box so I cant really compare with other brands. I usually wait to write reviews but I am already impressed with this breeding box. I personally use these to introduce smaller fish into my community tanks. I have both the small and larger version. The little air tube connection on the side is a nice addition too. I got this so I can just put him in our 20-gallon hex with the angelfish.
