That is the only potential issue with automatic feeders. Battery indicator on the display lets you know how much battery life remains. However, I was able to get it to stay stuck in between two. It took a min to figure out the instructions. Forgetting to feed your fish will not happen again with this Auto Fish Feeder. It would probably sell like hot cakes. So far I have only used flake food in it, but it's handling it just fine.

Love this feeder.
I look forward to my next vacation with asking someone to feed my fish. This fish feeder is very configurable and reliable. I tried his usual food pellets and quickly decided that they would not work at all. So far I have only used flake food in it, but it's handling it just fine. Otherwise you will no doubt eventually get water in there. This thing must be running on uranium. It runs off batteries so it lasts the full two weeks they are gone.
