I looked carefully inside the small shipping box but did not find the missing lid. Much better price than at the big box pet store. It's super fresh, and the tight seal on the lid makes its longevity stretch. Meaning it's overfilled for the better! It's super fresh, and the tight seal on the lid makes its longevity stretch. They love it tho.
It comes in a large container and I know we will never need fish food again. I can't use it in tanks where the majority of the fish feed at the surface. My son in law feeds this exclusively and he said his fish love it as well. I bought the 7oz container which is a lot of fish food. Its a myth that petstore gold fish die after the first weekend. I also keep the pond heater at 73 to 74 degrees all winter. Truth is though, my fish prefer this fish food to many others I've tried.
