I think the people who said the suction cup broke. The digital display itself is easy to read at a glance. Since it is a mercury thermometer, it is very accurate. I can't say which is the most accurate and don't really care. 2 deg, if it was 32, it would be a SOLID block of ice. Still a recommendation for me due to price and accuracy. Place it on your aquarium and you are good to go.
