Estes' 346001 First Impressions

I couldn't be happier.

The light color is really pretty and makes it easy to spot various critters. 10 weeks in and I have four tanks going. My goldfish seems much happier and will dig and siphon the sand. This is a nice color of sand and looks good under the light. Not too white, more a beige-grey color. Poured water in, ran the filter for a day. My beautiful sand turned a very dark brown.

Estes' 346001 Final Thoughts

Somewhat tricky to clean.

I unloaded it into a bucket and continued to rinse several times. The light color is really pretty and makes it easy to spot various critters. Like I said earlier, it's like beach sand. But if you want actual fine sand might not be what your looking for. 2 weeks later and my tank is still a little cloudy. My goldfish seems much happier and will dig and siphon the sand. When adding water, no dust, no mess.
