This scrapper will trap some of it making it easier to get out of the tank. The head of the scrapper has no sharp or hard edges to scratch the glass. Use them both every day and have zero problems with it. It's also significantly larger so cleaning takes less time. And I don't often say things like that. I would not have an aquarium without this.
