The divider works well.

A silicone tray, Charcoal potty pad, and this grid. I found these and now have 6 of them for my male bettas. I cam keep my 2 betta fish in the same tank now. Make sure you read the instructions and have the right type of aquarium! Holes are drilled evenly and it will divide fish 1. It is a bit tricky to straighten it and clip it, but with a bit of a push, it's fine. 6-25-19- I had to make a minor adjustment to my divider.

Only reason I took a star off was the price. You can also try any other small fish. Doesn't obstruct the look of my fish tank. We have four South American cichlids that do not live in harmony together. I also found out small fish can easily swim between the gaps on the sides. So I dont need the suction cups even though I'm glad I have them. I turn a 10-gallon tank into three, 3.
