MarineLand ML90609 First Impressions
Great beginners tank.
It's probably fine, but I don't like it at all. It also sits on the bottom glass pane, not the edges of the viewing panes. Hope this list helps those who are new to keeping fish-- they are a great first pet! It is definitely something that you can noticeably hear, but it is not an annoyance. And the lights that it comes with are my absolute favorite. The filter is actually a pretty nice design. This is especially important if you opt to keep tropical fish rather than a betta.

After adding water, etc.
All you need to add for a happy Betta fish is an extra light and a tank heater. If the disco look is not your taste, a different tank would better suit you. He was being suctioned to the filter. I would recommend those back flow connectors for the air pump. And you can not take the background out of the tank,it is glued in! It has been working just fine and maintaining temp. And it builds up a lot of algae so it needs to be cleaned more.
