IMPORTANT!
I was new to the hobby and didn't realize that Tetras were inferior filters. Once it loses its charge, you'll need to replace it. The filter stopped working all of a sudden. Not sure what I'll do with the more complex design. It's only rated at 25 gph less, but holds considerably less media. Just rinse them out once a month, don't throw that beneficial bacteria away. DO NOT CLEAN OR WASH the paper wheel itself.

I still have my original wheels on the year old 350 with no issues whatsoever. Never ever ever use it past a year. The ability to regulate the flow solves the loud waterfall problem. It doesn't rise up hugely above the tank like a lot of HOB filters. There must be a huge batch of these units at Amazon right now that are bad.
