This light is definitely amazing build quality and brightness for the price! That said, I tried it out today and it's gorgeous! Check out the photos on this 20 gallon grow out tank. They are so much nicer than the florescent lights that came with my tanks. It has multiple settings, dimmer and a TIMER! The timer works well, and I love that there are different intervals. Both are quality lights, well built with excellent output.

I'd use it for a frag tank or maybe even a coral QT. I am so in love with this lights and looking forward to start a new planted tank. I contacted NICREW they were great with customer service. Wanted to return it but decided to keep it for my quarantine tank. I actually thought the tank had constant algae blooms before I got this light. The timers are exactly what I needed to create sunrise and sunset effect. It illuminates my 20g long fish tank entirely and perfectly.
