Have it on low speed.
I really do need 1 that flows on its own. Now our fish have grown and we've added live plants. This water conditioner is a life saver! I highly recommend the product and seller without hesitation. Aquarium tubing is scarce where I live during the pandemic. Then I can walk away and come and move it to the next pocket or re-position it. 5 years now and I truly believe they help keep the humidifier and water cleaner.

I promise you it fits.
I used to use AmQuel years ago and then spent years out of the aquarium hobby. The siphon works well and does what it should. Couldn't find this at the local pet store and it was cheaper online. It DOES fit, you just have to spend a few minutes getting it on. But this is great utility tubing for a variety of other uses. Didn't use this for a fishtank or to pump liquids through it. The filters are expensive to replace and only so-so quality.
