This runs 15 hrs per day for about 4 months. This pump will mix 30-50 gallons of salt water in about 20-30 minutes. Make sure it's fully submerged, to protect the motor; OURS WORKS GREAT! Some of my orchids do not do well when the relative humidity drops below 30%. Put it back in the aquarium and has been quiet ever since. It raised the temperature of my water by about 10°. It is a definite asset to the outdoor space.
