Mostly for betta's.
It is much safer to simply to add 3 drops per gallon. You need a source of ammonia to feed the bacteria which Dr. API Stress Coat is a phenomenal product. Beats the heck out of those expensive suit cleaners. Just an idea incase someone doesn't have a spare dropper. Thanks to the Amazon reviewer who mentioned this! Way to go Fluval keep up the good WORK!

Tetra 16268 Final Thoughts
No odor or discoloration.
In my opinion there's nothing better. Crystal clear after changing water and adding this to my 2. This product is exactly what it says it is. The water we get here in SoCal is hard with chlorine in it. I like API products and this is no different. My water was cloudy with a very fine misty haze. The chloramines contain a small amount of ammonia.
