Once attached to the tank wall I've had no issues with it coming off. For Discus you need warm and accurate heater and this seems to do the trick. It comes with a hanging kit and can be secured on the edge of the tank. And I get to keep the first one I bought! I recieved this product without the instructions or the added thermometer. Keeps the water consistent and it's easy to adjust! The setting always stayed the same.
