Tfwadmx First Impressions

I still like it.

Hopefully in a little while they will sink. Adds a great natural look to your aquarium. My filter should take care of any water discoloration from this driftwood. All pieces were nice size for my 5 gallon tank. I will add photo once my tank is all setup next week. The clean water pic is after 7 days and 3 full water changes. You could also leave off a section branch and use it separately in your design.

Tfwadmx Final Thoughts

It's very nice.

However, that is exactly what you find in a natural environment. If I had gotten small pieces I would have boiled them. I did have to boil it which was expected. Make sure you boil the item before adding to your set up. You have NO IDEA what it will look like, or how big it will actually be. The first is you won't know what you have until it comes. Mine is 2 tone, darker, and unique shape.

  • SIZE -- Package includes 3pcs driftwood. Sizes varies from 3.9 to 9.8 inches in length. It is safe for all pets. Shrimps, fish fry, hermit crabs, fish, and even reptiles love driftwood.
  • SMALL AND VERSATILE -- Complex and bizarre shape. Perfect for reptiles to climb on. It can be placed in the aquarium for decoration, adding aesthetics to your fish tank. It’s an indispensable landscaping item. It can also soften water quality and adjust PH value.
  • LOW MAINTENANCE -- Unlike live plants, aquarium driftwood decorations do not require oxygen or fertilizer. You can combine driftwood with moss or other plants to create a landscape of the fish tank.
  • NOTICE -- Some driftwood needs to be soaked in water for several hours to sink to the bottom and will slightly discolor. This wood is a substitute for azalea roots and sinks faster than it does. Before you put the driftwood into water, you’d better soak for 15 minutes or boil.
