Both worked great.

I have large fish and large fish make large poop! It doesn't do as good a job cleaning the gravel like a gravity suction siphon. Python is good too but this is fast, easy and light. Hard for small hands like mine to grasp and use easily. I also found that the angled attachment clogged way easy. I like the fact it is not draining the water when you vacuum. The only draw back, wish it came with a longer hose or attachment to make it longer.
