Zoo Med 976501 First Impressions

They LOVE it.

To put it in perspective, its about 6 inches tall and 3 inches wide! I've also now have a number of very plump bottom feeders. Fish color and health are all good. 06 oz size, which is very economical, and then transfer them to my smaller 2. As an avid aquarium enthusiast I use a lot of fish food. Overall, this is a good product for a good price. I'd tried various flaked food, bloodworms, brine, and even live baby earthworms.

Zoo Med 976501 Final Thoughts

The fish like them fine.

I had tried flake food in an automatic feeder which was a total disaster. This food seems to do better for the outside fish. My Oscar is almost 4 years old and loves it. Inevitably I ran out of the flakes and went to purchase the same product. Many betta foods are floating orbs that have a diameter too large for bettas. Also, these seem to grow waterlogged and sink faster than the TetraMin Pro. I bought a house last year and inherited some fish in a pond.
